Drawing- Mechanical Parts- Part 2

After completing the first half of the project I then moved onto looking at repeating shapes, line drawings and creating sculptures using a specific object. For my object I used an old phone rescued from the dump and the first thing I did was create a design sheet of line drawings of the phone taken from different angles, using a water soluble pen. After completing four different drawings I then moved onto taking my phone apart, in preparation to build a sculpture. 

Although it is not complete yet I am pleased with the way each side of the phone has turned out making it look different every time. Below you can see photographs of the different angles that I drew the phone from.

I called this 'the Radio Phone' since I found that when turned on its side with the antenna, it looks like a radio.

 

After taking the phone apart, I then placed the different parts on a sheet of white paper.
